Yes  we are for the most part the first on the scene, but the first responder wait's for us to make the scene  safe for "them" to come into, so stop blaming the cops. you people have bigger problems than a glove left behind. you guys act like A-Hole's from San Francisco, Seattle, Portland or, God for give me,  Hollywood.

Until you, so I'm told, highly educated morons, can get your elected official to limit the liquor license in your area your going to have problems. it's back on you. its on you and the person you voted to represent your area.

Wow, talk about moron, you seem to be at the top of that list. Springfielder pegged you! I especially love the "educated moron" isn't that a contradiction?

HAHAHA! I did ot vote for Gaffney, nope. We live in Historic Springfield, not New Springfield. But you are right, there are not any alcholics anywhere else, and it is completely acceptable to leave behind blood. I am going to let the dumb doctors and vets office know next time I go not to charge me that stupid biohazard fee those jerks.....

Methinks this guy is trolling.

With a name like BenDayHoe, (A weak attempt at registering as pendejo) what else could it be?

AND ANOTHER THING!

While it's true I might be a moron, I AM MOST CERTAINLY NOT HIGHLY EDUCATED! (not in the academic sense anyway)

To get this right, what you are saying is that officers should be allowed to dump their bio hazardous waste along the sidewalks because we are NOT Portland, Seattle, San Francisco or Hollywood? Try this in World Golf Village or Nocatee and see how far you get. My neighbors are not from any of the aforementioned cities, rather they are more likely from Philadelphia, Cleveland and Buffalo but they would not tolerate this behavior. Being clean has nothing to do with where one is from, hell I knew peasants in Colombia that swept the clay floors...guess they were "smarter" then these officers?

"Your area?" Just where is this "area?"  You wouldn't be suggesting that everyone in Springfield imbibes a touch of spirits would you? The people of Springfield are Jacksonville's new pioneers, they are slowly reclaiming a district that had become a mecca of rooming and bawdy houses. It doesn't take a PHD to make this happen, only the will to pick the city up and march forward and apparently you sir, would trash that and tell us to move on. The lucidity of your grandee enterprise is the antithesis of the translucent benignities usually found on our site.

That's okay, this highly educated Historic Springfield resident knows that some people just need some help . In the meantime, it's 5:00 somewhere....

LOL.  I've been so tired this last week I didn't even pick up on that.  Good catch!

I think it all boils down to respect.  I used to work at a continuation high school (teacher.)  The school relocated in the district and the site opened up as a magnet art school.  Seven years later we still carry the stereotype that the continuation school had, even though we are a "real" school with the highest API of 7 high schools in a 90,000 student district!!!

Those familiar with Springfield are aware of its goods and bads.  It just takes one knucklehead to forget protocol making a whole group (JSO, JFD) look bad.  As I am sure I stated, Dad is a retired State Police Officer of 25 years, has maintained involvement in law enforcement for the (VT) Sheriff's Department, and trained Afgan's overseas for 2 years in law enforcement.  Probably why it bothered him so much.

JB (SOS), Gloria (Team Recovery,) and FSU (SPAR Block Captains,) are taking charge with neighborhood beautification and clean-ups.  I believe very sincerely that the actions of residents who are the "Guardians of Springfield" will continue to help change perceptions.

An honest mistake/discard?  Hope so?  A big deal?  Not in the scope of things.  But important to bring to light none-the-less.

Have I mentioned I love Springfield?!! ;D
