I was called my Alvin today to meet. I appreciated him personally reaching out to me. I was impressed with how far he has come in the last few days. Hogan is still the favorite no doubt. However, Alvin is catching peoples attention. I am still waiting to see a little more but would like to share a story about Alvin and his sweet wife santhia. Back in 1994 Alvin and I developed a friendship. He was working at the white house at the time but I had met him in Jacksonville which was and obviously still his hometown. He heard I wanted to take my wife and young family to Washington dc by train to visit all the sites. He said to call him when I made plans and he would show me around. I had just lost a race for the Florida senate. Well , I took my then young family by train to Washington dc and Alvin and his sweet wife picked us up in his van from union station. They rolled out the red carpet for Karen and I and showed us all the sights for 5 days after his workday was complete. Alvin got our family a wonderful tour of the white house. When he says he knows his way around Washington dc, believe me when i tell you, he knows his way around. He and santhia had us over to their house for dinner and could not have been nicer and more accommodating. At the time I was a defeated candidate for senate so I did not have
much if any political clout to give him. He was just a good guy true to his word. Alvin is an amazing young man
who overcame great odds , earned an MBA at jacksonville university and worked for the president of the united
states. Don't count this man out!! Btw, i met him at the metro diner this morning and could not find him. He was going to all
the tables flashing his trademark smile and introducing himself with great enthusiasm. It was fun to watch! Just my observation to date. Matt Carlucci sr

Matt, you lead my family to support Audrey.  I will be following you closely as you get to know Alvin better and hope that we can get the opportunity to meet him the same way that we got to meet Audrey.  Thanks for your leadership in the community!
