What are some of the best urban spots to study / read?  I recently discovered the downtown library... wow.  Are there any other gems?  Factors I look for wifi, tables, and places that don't mind me sitting for hours.  Here is my list so far...

Downtown Library
Willow Branch Library
5pts Tea and Spice
New Broadway
Starbucks (not enough tables inside though)

The Zen Garden at Three Layers.  The bunny is very quiet. Won't disturb you at all. For that sugar rush you need for studying...a big old fat slice of three layer cake!

Three Layers is great. And I love that bunny. He does have to come sniff you at least once.

Also if you're near Gate Parkway, Sippers Coffee is another good choice.

I never witnessed a more quiet place than the fourth floor of the Main Library. It also has some pockets of peacefulness thoughout some of the other floors too.

That is correct.

I just had to say... I love the phrase...

Quotepockets of peacefulness
:)
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Dog Walker

During the daytime, there is also the neat, new coffee, soda and tea place in 5 Points on Park Street whose name I can't remember now.   They have wi-fi, too.

Just about the only place in town you can get bobas too.
When all else fails hug the dog.
