I owned the 1925 English Tudor styled home in the French Country fashion on the corner of Challen and Remington in Avondale.  I was the 3rd. owner.  At the closing table my attorney asked what is it about that house that causes people to live there so long.  I think it's the wine cellar.

? Neat story... but kinda random...

But, my house is somewhat similar. It had continuous ownership from the early 1930s to 1996 when the wife passed away. The person I bought it from got it willed to her.

I have to say, even though my house isn't one of what I call "wow houses" its feels very comfortable to me, and it is the first house I have lived in, in my adult like, that feels like home.

Oh, I dunno. It just sorta seemed kind of out of the blue. Nothin bad.

I enjoyed the neighbors the most--just the best people I've had the pleasure to meet.   They were always friendly and watching out for one another.  Tommy or Cole would cut my yard whenever I wasn't feeling well.

what do you mean by kinda random?

Maybe you could have started it by saying something about how long you lived there....it seems like you started typing in the middle of your story.

I'm not a very good story teller. But I know what you mean when you say I'm random.

I'm happy you feel that way in your house.  My circa 2007 apartment feels that way to.

I guess home is what you make of it.
