well since I was cited for the 12 inch strip of property behind my fence (which bTW I never even knew was mine!) while they were citing the property next to it (which I thought all belonged to Petra) I figure what is one more ticket? I think perhaps I complained to much (calling them out at the city council meeting) that now I am being scrutinized. Oh well I will just moe the fence back and reclaim that extra 12 inches and paint a big red heart right on the newly moved fence :-)

On a positive note, I was told Wednesday that there was a buyer or 1626 Ionia, this property we boarded, where we (the owner,) was cited for graffiti, and then we subsequently painted over to "comply."  I spoke to him personally while he was there with the owner.  Let's cross our fingers folks. 

Preservation SOSs efforts have always been about awareness and saving the houses.  There is indeed hope for this block of Ionia.
