Looks like "Ock's Road" would traverse wetland/conservation/greenbelt/mitigated lands??

Funny how some people like to give the thumps down to places other than where we live.

WGV area happens to be one of the choicest areas to live in NEFL. The Resort grounds give the area a suburban feel that you don't get in any other part of Jacksonville. Yes, there is alot of potential for growth and expansion of amenities, shopping, infrastructure etc. but I think families that move there do so for the low crime and schools generally. At least that is my opinion. The only downside is lack of brand name shopping except for the Outlets. But that will come.

As far as the location of the Resort with the IMAX, the upscale Renaissance and the conference center  - perfect.

People who say that the area is at a standstill must be living under a rock and not aware of the economic crash that put the brakes on alot of structural planning in NEFL.  Because the market turned out the way it did doesn't mean that the planning wasn't well thought out.
