What would he get a reaction for? He won't be announced with their starters.  And unless they have some short yardage plays drawn up for him, he probably won't be in the game.

Wear teal to the game?  No problem now that my Reggie Nelson jersey is obsolete. ;)

A rally at the Town Center??? Why not the Landing or the Everbank Field parking lot?

I agree, that's absurd.  Why have a rally 20 miles from the Stadium?  It's not like we lack the facilities for it downtown.

As of right now, Tebow is listed as the 3rd QB.  For those not familiar with NFL 3rd String QB rules.. They are designated the "Emergency QB," and once the 3rd QB enters the game, the other 2 QBs cannot come back in.

In other words, if Tebow is 3rd string QB, he's not coming in.

It says it is near Dick's Sporting Goods. Maybe they are sponsoring the event.

Actually, it looks like Dick's Sporting Goods is a national sponsor for the Back to Football Friday campaign with the United Way. Here is the website. Make sure all you Jaguar fans pledge to wear Jags gear to work or school on Friday. We are currently in last for participation. :(

Actually 3rd string QB and Emergency QB are not the same thing.  Each team has to designate 5 players as inactive for each game and they can also designate and Emergency QB who can only play in the first 3 quarters if the 1st and 2nd string QB's leave the game and do not return.  It's a way to have 49 players dressed and available.  If Tebow is listed as inactive he can't play at all.  If he is left active he can play in any capacity.
