Ideal location close to both Jax and St. Aug beaches. Community looks amazing.

There's not much there.  It will be interesting to see how Nocatee develops in the future, considering when the market returns, development patterns will have changed.

And I think the Publix built there is the lowest revenue store in the N Florida market.

In this economy, the impact fees that Nocatee homeowners are required to pay must be a tough sell.

The water park looks very nice, so my wife inquired about a non-resident membership for the family.  The price is a little too steep for us, $3000 for the year, so we passed.

You have to wonder how long they'll be able to afford to maintain all the landscaping, etc with so few residents.

Lunican

It's shameful that this was allowed to be built.

Lunican

Yes, beyond shameful.

How much money was wasted to create this scene?

I guess it's great if you are a car, but people can't live in this kind of environment.

JMac

They originally wanted to build Nocatee downtown, but there wasn't enough parking.

I honestly think some people want this town to look like Orlando. I agree on the shameful comment.

Well, let's first get rid of the metropolitan charter, split the cities up, and have ungodly stupid city limit boundaries. That has played a heavy roll in why the Orlando Metro is so messed up.
