Did you see in today's Times Union EPPING FOREST YACHT CLUB (A Gate-Peyton owned property) had 31 Health Violations in their latest inspection (March 23)????

Maybe the mayor should worry about his own company before he starts bashing others!!!!!

Well, damn, I'm glad I go to FYC instead!

Rich republicans are trying to kill us all!

And The Village Bread Cafe and Vito's at the Landing had NO VIOLATIONS. But the mayor called The Landing a run down dump. Now we know what is really a run down dump. Obviously Epping Forrest is a dump...I mean 31 MAJOR VIOLATIONS. The mayor should be embarrased for his Dad's business.

Sportmotor

No. The people specfically running that place should be embarrased.

shocking! wonder how the University Club or River Club would rate in these inspections.

adamf421

San Jose Country Club had 20 violations and 11 were critical with "administrative action" required.

Excactly! No issues at FYC in 3 of the last 4 inspections.

Cimmaron CC in St. Johns County was roughed up by the inspectors as well.

And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

All of that info is available to the public.
Here you can search by the name of the restaurant:

The U club is owned by clubcorp, so the Peytons don't own that one. The River Club is owned by Gate, though, and judging from the inspection that just happened a couple weeks back, they aren't doing too well. Nothing seriously disgusting, but some critical violations over hygiene/cleaning issues.

adamf421

The River Club had 13 CRITICAL violations and 5 non-critical.  Too bad Peyton's family can't seem to "get it right" running their own businesses but want to criticize everyone else.....BOO Peyton!

You didn't think this was CRITICAL:   Critical. Observed raw animal food stored over ready-to-eat food.

??????  That's not "bitchy."

I'd like to pose a question to you Adamf41: Did you create a MetroJax account for the purpose of bringing up this muckraking? It seems a little sheepish to join in solely to call out the Mayor for something he currently has absolutely no involvement in? Maybe "bitchy" isn't the right word. I'd say more like you've been drinking too much hater-ade.

The violations didn't really bother me too much, most of those things could be fixed on the spot...looks like the inspector had it out for the River Club (not unlike you, Adam)
If you will it dude, it is no dream.
