You can be assured the diamond would find it's rightful place onto the fair hand of Mrs Buckethead. She's still lovely, BTW. Moreso now than ever.

Just a note about this event.  Went to the Library and had lunch at Hemming Plaza on Saturday.  Dowtown was FULL of people on bikes from this event.  It was REALLY cool to see that much bike traffic in the core on a Saturday.  I often bike in the morning to RAM or down the riverwalk, but rarely see much bike traffic in the city.

This event looked super fun.  I signed up for it, but didnt participate.  I should have!!!  It was like the tv show, The Amazing Race.  Real cool idea from Underwoods!

Field, we were there too for the same reasons and wondered what the event was that brought out all the cyclists.  Thought maybe it was the Springfield Bike Tour.  It was neat to see all the riders out.
When all else fails hug the dog.

Me and the wife participated in the event and it was awesome.  We did some research before the day of the "Dash" on downtown Jax and found out some really cool stuff.  I always complain to my friends that Jax is boring, but after this little event, it opened my eyes to some parts of Downtown that were very interesting and we plan on following up on some of the stuff we located.  Unfortunately my bike broke half way through the dash but we walked the rest of the way and still had a great time.  Already getting ready for the one they are hosting next year!

You can't just leave it there, man.  What did you find?

Actually we didn't find "anything" but a good time.  We had some fun in Hemming Plaza, down on the waterfront and even at the library!  Go figure! The library of all places.
