Hamsterdam Cam - Part 2 : Now with playbill to follow along

This weekend, we should be up and streaming live Friday-Saturday night. Probably going to start early around 10pm on Friday and streaming into Saturday morning.

As a new feature, we are planning on streaming live from a mobile camera. We also finally got a list of all the characters for you to follow along better. Sadly, we are one or two short after JSO arrested Todd who shot Devares a couple weeks ago. I hope Devares will be out again. If not, his room mate Travis may be available to chat with us about what happened.

Oh no, remember, like they keep telling us - it's not that bad.  Oh that's right. The people that say that are the ones that are getting their drunk on making asses of themselves in public.

So I was watching Cops last night and they were busting up some prostution by putting undercover officers out there and arresting the Johns's..........I've never seen JSO take this approach in SPR.  It would seem to be more effective than ocasionally arresting the HeHo's only to have them released the next day.  The JOhn's have alot more to lose if they get caught.  Things like families and jobs................

I'm guessing getting male officers to doll themselves up for stings isn't an easy sale.

The only thing a marked police car driving around the block is going to do is to make sure that the hookers/drug dealers are all safe and not bothered by residents. We would be better off if JSO would just shut down after dark (and safe a lot of taxes too). Some officers are also just too afraid to confront anybody at night. Based on discussions at Shadco meetings, JSO has a total of 7 or less vice officers who can work under cover. It only takes that long for them to be known.

targeting the actual prostitutes will not work.  i think most people realize that the most dangerous people are the ones that have nothing to lose.  funny, we have been told that they (JSO) can not do anything unless they see it happening - in hamsterdam, after the sun goes down, you pretty much can't swing a dead cat (not that i would sacarc) and not hit someone that isn't dealing, stealing or hooking out in public - there is no shame in their game. 
historically the problem has been the denial factor.  if the powers that be admitted there was a problem then suddenly no one would want to buy a house in springfield.  and after all, it wasn't in their front yard.  this is not an attitude that was imagined - we were told that we (hamsterdam) didn't need the help of the guardian angels or anyone else for that matter, we just needed to give money to the security fund. 
the JSO factor - that is a whole different issue.  as moved said, jso is their security.  as long as they are there - not interfering with business (which for the most part they don't) they could probably eliminate their pimp (personal security).
sadly, some people seem to think that the hamsterdam cam shows springfield in a not so flattering light - really?  not the fact that they are openly giving head but the fact that it is shown? 
i also find it sad that so much attention is constantly given to the five people living in a house because it will be the downfall of springfield (again).  it isn't the open sex that is going to keep buyers away at all, it is the ambiguous house that after much stalking was discovered to house 5 "unrelated" people.  perhaps these people should start having sex in the front yard - that would negate the concern.

well there you have it.  let's just knock down some of these pesky houses and throw up a super walmrt.  what would you suggest that we crowd them out with at 2am?
