Sparlitics (the politics of living in Springfield.)

Bobbers (the guys walking the alleys looking mindlessly for things to steal.)

zombies  -  those who have been dischaged from Shands who are still wearing their hospital robes and walking around like zombies.

Springfield birds   -     JSO helecopters that circle endlessly.

ghetto flowers     -     plastic bags that have gotten caught in a tree and wave in the wind

Keeping it real      -    having broken banner poles and trash along the main street in "historic springfield"

Lawn Ornaments   -    those shiny Steel Reserve cans that show up in your yard all the time.

Chicken District (Stretch of Main St between 8th and 12th)

Hampsterdam ( 8th to Blvd to 7th to Perry)

Springfield dump (Old tire store on 8th and Blvd)

Springfield terrier (Any stray dog that's breed can not be easily identified)

Urban Warrior (homeless dude with cart so over packed ...he has everything to survive!)

Jail Yard I-1 (Ionia and First where criminals can be viewed getting their daily fresh air and exercise)

Urban recylcer ( homeless dudes that spreadh your trash all over the street on trash day looking for cans)

Mr and Mrs Copper Thief (Couple tearing up 5K airconditioners for one piece of $5 copper)

Springfield raincoat -- black trash bag worn with head and arms poking out.

Courageous: Any person who would restore a structure in Springfield.

Resolute: The mindset of any (contributing) resident willing to brave the hazards of Sprigfield as a result of their admiration of it's beauty and potential.

Ditto.  Like I mentioned to a couple of others here - I deal with drama where I work.  I sure as heck don't want to have to deal with it where I live too.  I couldn't handle it!

However, to hear people talk about it in real life versus over the threads is even more entertaining and educational!

Thankfully, what you read on MJ's forums is often not reality.

"Real life" in SPR isn't nearly as contraversial, argumentative, rude, idiotic, etc as the MJ version.

It isn't that bad. Some people just like keeping things stirred up. Mostly everyone I talk to on my street pays no attention to this crap. So please do not think it is a bad place to live.

That's good. I have friends that live in Springfield and love it. But they do have some colorful stories to tell.
