They can be a little over done but they are nice. Where are they based out of?
'As a sinner I am truly conscious of having often offended my Creator and I beg him to forgive me, but as a Queen and Sovereign, I am aware of no fault or offence for which I have to render account to anyone here below.'   Mary, queen of Scots to her jailer, Sir Amyas Paulet; October 1586

I believe Austin.  I know that before they were "Whole Foods" they were "Safer Way" - a spoof of "Safeway".  So they obviously have a since of humor.

While this is good, i am not happy that Whole Foods has decided to move in so close to our own groundbreaking local market, Native Sun. NS took a chance on a concept like this a long time ago and has been rightly rewarded for such foresight, but i see WF moving there as kind of a predatory, Wal-Mart-ish move.
Plus, no way in hell am i driving to Mandarin for groceries.

Funny.  We weren't saying that about Starbucks moving.

I wonder if this has anything to do with The Fresh Market moving down the road closer to Julington Creek......

Agree about Native Sun. I try to go to their Baymeadows-9A store when I am in the area. The people that work there are very nice.

You beat me to it.  Thanks for the pics!

If anyone is interested, the best pizza place in town, IMO, is right next door.  It's called Picasso's and it puts shame to everything else here.

Jason

I've eaten there quite often for lunch.  It is a very good spot to catch a bite.

That's great.  I used to shop at Whole Foods when I lived in Wisconsin.  However, I won't be driving from downtown just to get my groceries.
So Jacksonville now has Fresh Market and Whole Foods.  Now all we need is a Trader Joes downtown.

How is Grassroots?  Is it locally owned as well?  I've seen one in 5 points & another in Fleming Island but they seem to be on a much smaller scale than Native Sun and/or the others........
