Hi all-
We visited Jax last February (my wife has some family there).  One cousin lived in Riverside and we loved it there, and now we are thinking of moving south to get away from the horrible NY winters.  Jacksonville is definitely on the top of our list.

After reading through this site for a few days, the city seems a lot like Albany.  I've found the site really informative and helpful.

Shwaz - Sounds good!  I'd be excited to live in a city with an NFL franchise.  We get the Giants in the summer for training camp, but the stadium is about 3 hours away.  How much are Jags tickets these days?

Hey there Albany! Football fans are welcomed with open arms here! Depsite what the critics may say this a great place stay, a big city with a small town feel is the best way to put it. And the weather is always great!! And we've dodged hurriance's since 1964. Come on down!!!
