REEDNAVY, will you google it for me?
No, I'm not your mother, do it yourself.

QuoteI wanted a fast food version of Long John Silver's, and if there is one, I want to know!

I always considered Long Johns to be fast food. Anything with a drive thru is fast food to me.

Unless you are paying for fillet's that are deep fried, your getting minced fish and uh, well, fish parts. Do you have ANY idea where the "meat" from crab cakes comes from? After the premium crab meat is scooped from the shell, and the claws tossed into a freezer, all of the crab guts and shell go into a food processor... the other end of this machine is your basic "crab cake meat". The minced fish, same thing, bone, shell, and god knows what go into the processor and come out as LJS deep fried, or Captain D's. Anyone remember the recent lobster promos on TV? "Real lobster" for under $5 bucks!"

You may now walk to the stern of the ship and spew!

Used to be one in the avenues mall food court years ago, and there was one off main street MANY years ago, but I don't believe they are in the southeast anymore.

Main Street location was Springfield/ North Springfield,
also there was one on University Blvd. (West).

My post from page 1....

QuoteA good "deep fried seafood" spot is Sharky's on US1 just south of 312 in St. Augustine.  They have fantastic beer battered shrimp and great broiled fish as well.

Sharky's is a fast food restaraunt.

I will have to try Sharky's!

I miss Marty's Seafood!

Thanks Jason!  You seem nice, I hope you get out of the that box.

There was one on Blanding near Wilson / Cedar Hills area. I remember that from my childhood. Dad loved that place.

Jason, can you run clockwise?   If not, you should be driving a NASCAR.  The way you take sharp lefts, you would be hard to beat on an oval track.

I agree.  This is the world we live in, and I wish I could go to a drive thru, and get some good fish, and chips!
