I received this email in response to one I sent about adopting a resolution to oppose the Central Florida plan to remove massive amounts of water from the St. Johns river.

Mr. Sutton -- we are most likely going to be doing a resolution very
soon.  There is a Northeast Fla. Water Summit on the 25th of January at
the World Golf Village which will be very informative to everyone.  I
believe we will be doing our resolution after this event.

Thanks for your concerns and interests!!!

Sincerely,
Chereese Stewart
District 4
Clay County Commissioner

According to the Jax Daily Record the meeting is at UNF's University center. Mayor Peyton, the Riverkeeper, County reps from the Saint Johns river basin counties and Central Florida are on the guest list.

You may find this sentence interesting. I did.

QuoteThe Summit will be open to the public, however the activities of the day will be focused specifically on the Chief Elected Officials within the region in order to educate and build consensus
