It would still be sweet to deny the Texans their first division win of the season.

And their first non-losing season in franchise history. I think we will win on Sunday even with all backups. Our backups (Quinn Gray, Labrandon Toefield, Dennis Norman) are among the best in the league.

Well, the Jag's second and third string couldn't pull off the win.  At least the team is healthy and ready for another bout in Pittsburgh.  The AFC South is very well represented in the playoffs this season too.  I'm suprised Indy didn't fight harder against their rival Titans.

How deep does everyone think the Jags will go?  Are they Arizona bound?

I certainly think they have the ability to pull it off but it will be a long hard road.

Unless an upset happens in San Diego, the Jags would most likely have the toughest trip to Arizona.  They would have to win in Pittsburgh, New England and Indianapols just to get to the big game.

I think they'll get past Pittsburgh, but the New England game will depend on the weather.  If that game is played in good weather, I don't think the secondary will be able to stop Brady, Moss and Welker.

Well, we've seen what the Jags can do in bad weather.  5th seeds have made the big game and won it.  Also remember the Steelers won the whole shebang as a 6th seed a few years back.

I honestly don't think I would bet my life savings on them making it to the big game but if they do there is no doubt in my mind that the Jags are better than any team in the NFC.  It might be worth dropping $20 on a bet that they'll make it.  Shure would payoff well!

That was a close one but they got it done at crunch time.

A playoff win is a playoff win. I'll take it. Next stop..New England?

also, could somebody please inform me why the hell we did a safety blitz on fourth and twelve? AAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH i was going to pull my hair out! all you have to do is keep him in front of you, but no, lets blitz. that game shouldve never gotten close. they will need better composure if they want to win in NE or INDY. but once again....GO JAGS!

so do you want the jags to go to New England, or to Seattle?  I hope we go to New England.

They can't play at Seattle. It would be Indy.

Being a total Pats fan first and Jags second. I would like to see the Jags go to Indy. They usually play Indy pretty hard. I don't think the Jags can take out the Pats, obviously my view is jaded, but I just don't see them getting it done.. They still make too many mistakes.. I would really like to see a New England/Jacksonville AFC championship game.. I think it would do wonders for the Jags image to go through Indy.. Nobody else takes the Jags seriously, YET!!! But they are going to.. Never the less, I think the Pats are just unstoppable this year, too many weapons, too many good recievers to cover, one of the best ever quarterbacks.. This is the year that the '72 Dolphins get some company in the "Undefeated Club"....

Anyone else argue with the TV over the face mask? Where the heck were the ref's? I thought Pittsburgh caught a bad call too on the catch on the ground, He certainly had his hands UNDER the ball and came up with it? DUH?
Looked to me like our similar call, (with the same result) was decent, that ball seemed to bounce off the dirt first. The blitz was a really sorry idea on our part. That 4Th and 2, QB run in the last seconds was amazing...

This Jag team just might do horrible things to our City... A couple more games like this and 1/4 of the population of Jacksonville might die of HEART FAILURE! What a team... GO JAGS!

^^^ yea i saw that too. he also had the shoulder pad. it looked like a designed for Ward to draw interference. it was complete crap. my friend who was a steelers fan had the nerve to say that was legal in the first five yards....first of all, pushing is legal, not grabbing, second, the ball was in the air. anyway. that was a load of crap. i wouldve been uber pissed if we lost because of that. anyone else think that reggie nelson and hines ward shouldve shook hands after the game...they were being babies.

Good game.  I though they were quick on the whistle with Big Ben and not so much with Garrard.  Personally, I'd like to see Jax take on the Pats next week.  If you want to win a championship, you want to take out the best.  If that game is played on a clear sunny day, the Pats will have the edge.  If its in blizzard like conditions, its a toss up.
