What a great game.....Will any Jags make the Pro Bowl this year?
By the way...Happy Birthday!

What a game. ANYONE that missed those last 3 minutes because "football is boring" IS BRAIN DEAD! A Southern team, in a snow storm, in Pittsburgh (where nobody beats the Tin Men) and runs like Jeb Stuart around Little Mac. The Jags reduced the "Steelers" to a "clinking, clanking, clattering collection of caliginous junk." Gotta love those big cats.

BTW JBM how is our favorite cat? Cheshire?

Fantastic game by the Jaguars! They're proving to other teams that they're not just some warm-weather pushover team. And as I've said, if they want to get the playoffs, they need to win the rest of their games because the AFC is so good.

Oh yes, and my Fins pulled off the win!! FIN-ally! Indeed Lake, if the Pats can finally be beaten, everything will be right with the world.

Thanks for the b-day greeting.

Well. no Pro Bowl for any Jags. It did not happen and it sucks. Maybe Fred & the rest of the Jags can carry the team to the AFC championship and then to the Super Bowl. That would be better than a Pro Bowl, right Fred?    ;D

 >:( Unbelievable. As usual, the rest of the NFL snubs a team for any selections to the Pro Bowl, and many sports writers have been saying that this is supposed to be Fred's year. Let us hope and pray that the Jags make it to the Super Bowl and win it, thereby putting all of these so-called "football experts" in their place.

The Bucs did not have anybody either and are having a pretty good year.

even tho we were snubbed, all this prove is that we are a real TEAM. everyone on the field goes out and playes hard nosed football (dont kill me for this--->   xcept for Rashean Mathis-poor tackler/gambles too much(only when he doesn't get the pick :))). all the other big name teams have their stars, SD=LT, NE=Brady/Moss, Indy=Manning/Harrison, GB=Favre, Dallas=Owens/romo, pitt=big ben(his selection was a huge load of BS)/ward/parker.  Those people carry their teams. the jags carry each other. all i can say is  that its my fault for not voting. don't fret, the generation of jagsfans who grew up with them is coming soon!!!!
My home is my body.

My God! ! wow! GO JAGUARS! I would have expected a physical game from Oakland, I would have expected the cats to pull it out. I thought even 20 to 17 or some such score in favor of the Jags. But I NEVER expected to see us take the field, take charge and completely pound the raiders into oblivion. Even playing our backup guys we scored over and over... Unbelievable. If we take this kind of play through the coming weeks, we have the Superbowl in the bag.

Yes!  It's all over the news even in Hill Country!

I'm no football expert by no means, but maybe it's because he's playing HURT! I dunno why everyone continue to pile on Rashean, thinking he's no longer an elite cornerback anymore; He's playing with a hurt groin for godsake! I'll take a 70% Rashean, over a 100% Brian Williams anyday; Although Brian played well against OAK, I've seen him get burned way too many times in previous games. The 'hurt' Rashean usually will get beat on WR crossing patterns when the QB scrambles outta the pocket (any CB can be beaten on plays like that because you can't cover forever 'hint hint sometimes our pass rush falls asleep) Meanwhile B. Williams usually gets beat straight off of the line.

Another guy that's taken way too much abuse in Jax is Adam Podlesh; On the 15 yard punt vs. PIT, the longsnapper Joe Z hiked the ball way off center, so Podlesh had to reach way outta the area where the ball should've been snapped then avoid a punt rusher; IMO he did a good job kicking it off regardless of the distance, but everyone was ready too crucify him, but Joe Z takes no blame. Yall seen what Adam did vs. OAK.

CBS sportscaster Solomon Wilcots needs to take notice; He said that Garrard was "managing the game". What a load of crap! Any knowledgable football fan will look at alot of those excellent throws that Garrard made know that is not just 'managing the game".

Great game vs. OAK. I say rest up everyone for the playoffs in that unimportant week 17 game vs. HOU.

GO JAGS!!!!!

Jason

The Houston game may not have anything to do with making the playoffs but a loss will effect morale.  Comming into the post-season on a 4 game winning streak will likely help to pump the team up for the trip back up to Pittsburg and pull off another win.  Football is a game that is played out until the buzzer sounds and is won by those who want it most, IMO.

It depends, if it's a close game after halftime, and the Jags decide to rest everybody, and the third string loses, I don't really see it affecting morale.

The Jags lost a tough one to Indy, then went on a three game winning streak. David Garrard missed 3 games and came back laser sharp with no rust. I dont think resting a game will have a lasting effect on this team.

Now, as I fan I want to whip the tinhorns like nobodys business, but not to risk injury.
