This is usually the day that I open a new business, when Im opening one.

Both of Boomtown's official openings, Springfield and Downtown were officially opened on September 28, and last year we opened up Vigilant Legal Services in Lauderdale on the 28th, officially.

This year, Im just celebrating.  Its a little weird, not having a crushing agenda to get done today, (although I actually have a lot of stuff to do for MetroJacksonville.) And Im being dragooned to a few get togethers tonight to mark the occasion, but no huge catering to get done, or menus to print or hostesses to train or paralegals to drill into shape.

Happy birthday, Stephen.  Sorry I missed this news yesterday.

This site has made me appreciate Jacksonville more than ever, which is really saying something coming from me, and your diligent work, entertaining writing, and history lessons are a big part of that.
The tourist would realize at once that he had struck the Land of Flowers - the City Beautiful!
