Best Chicken Fingers in Jax

I wouldn't call them abysmal.  For fast food chicken fingers they're pretty good.  I think they're better than Publix actually.  I've always found Publix's chicken fingers to be too dry.

It's a scientific fact (that I just made up) that skinless chicken breast meat has no taste at all.  The only difference in your chicken "fingers" is the batter and how they are cooked.
When all else fails hug the dog.

I rarely eat chicken fingers, but the ones at the Ale House are actually quite good.

We need a Guthrie's.  They are my most favorite.  Zaxby's are alright for a substitute but no where close really.

I've had them at Seven Bridges and eh, whatever.  I wouldn't order them there again.

We had two.  They are both no more.  Jerome Browns isnt a bad substitue for the old Guthries Main St location.

I still say you can't take the Tallahassee outta Guthries anymore than you can take the Guthries out of Tallahassee.

Now I'm craving some Chubbys!

Zingers are about the only good thing at Ale House.  Good call!

Has anyone tried the Tebow place (PDQ) yet; Are their chicken fingers any good? On a side note, Commonwealth near 295 is getting a Zaxby's. Zaxby's has been really aggressively expanding in Jax. I wish that chain restaurants that we don't have (Long John Silvers, Boston Market, Tony Roma's, Romano's Macaroni Grill etc etc etc) will pick up steam. Sorry for going on a lil tangent.

Hip hop fish and chicken.  Call it in because it can take a while

PDQ is good, clean restaurant and quality stuff (if you do the drive thru you can see them making fries from potatoes). However, I still prefer zaxbys.
If you're ever out west in MS and LA, be sure to check out Canes, really good fingers!

Try Hardee's.

In my opinion they are the best.

One on Main Street? When I lived in Northshore I hit them up regularly.

Oh, hell yes, Hip Hop.  Can't have just one.  Or fifty.

We had two Guthrie's locations in town, one at 9th and Main and the other on St John's Bluff.    I guess Jacksonville doesn't love them as much as the college kids in Tally.

^They made a mistake in opening in Sprinfield's chicken district. The gut box is good but expensive compared with what was being sold at KFC, Popeye's and the Chicken Koop. All three were pretty much across the street from Guthrie's. Unfortunately, in that particular setting, Guthrie's was DOA. I remember them being pretty empty while the drive-thru lines were bustling at KFC and Popeye's.

The Guthrie's on St Johns Bluff did not end up being a good location. Once 9A opened, it routed all of that traffic away from the road Guthrie's was on.
