SAMBA members and friends,

The SAMBA May13 General Meeting will focus on Using Social Media to Attract Customers.  The speakers will provide information to help you use Facebook, Twitter and other social media in you business.  Joey Marchy, of Urban Jacksonville, will present various ways to use social media in your business.  Clinton and Sonya Bush, City KIDZ Ice Cream Cafe, will share their practical experiences in marketing a new business.

We will also have several special announcements, one concerning summer youth employment (Beverly Toney of Fresh Ministries) and the other about the national the 3\50 project (Jason Fisher, Content Design).

Come join us for this educational session and meet others from the Springfield business community.  We meet at City KIDZ Ice Cream Cafe, at 1303 North Main Street (at 3rd St.), at 6 PM.

Hope to see some of you there,

Thank you

SAMBA had a couple great presentations last night, but unfortunately I can't say the same thing about the attendance.  SAMBA is certainly doing some regrouping and building a foundation for the organization and the commercial district in Springfield.

One of the first issues being worked on is communication with not only the businesses of Springfield but also community in general.  SAMBA's twitter account went live yesterday and today the new facebook fan page launched, where hopefully Springfield commercial issues, concerns, comments, and hopefully compliments can be discussed.
