Hello!

I am a Mother of two who moved to Jax from Clay Co. (GCS to be specific)

I lived in R'side through '08; and worked downtown.
I fell in love with the Springfield Community and moved there in Sept '09.

I have since been looking for avenues into involvement.

I have been "active" in politics within my peer group; fighting apathy, questioning the media, encouraging others to hear BOTH sides of an issue, and VOTE.
I have also had some modest success as an iReporter for CNN.

I am looking forward to reading this forum, participating in meaningful dialogue, and finding where I might be of service to our community!

Well, anyone can be an iReporter, you just sign up.
Being a successful at it means that they like your work, and people respond to it.
I have had a really good response! My vids have appeared in prime time shows like Anderson Cooper 360 and The Situation Room.

I don't pretend that I am a real media/journalism person; but I do believe that I have something intelligent to contribute to a discussion on occasion. 
I encourage others who feel that they might also have something to contribute to do the same!
