I have never been to a PGA tour event. How are they? They seem boring on tv, but there are many fans on the side lines

I enjoy it because I walk the course and interact with the other fans.  It is almost a festival type atmosphere.  You probably "see" more actual golf on TV.

The TPC Sawgrass is a great event. What most people do not know is that the PGA Tour is a non-profit (unique amongst the major sports leagues) and generates loads of money for local charities at each event. Here is a list of charities they help from their website http://together.pgatour.com/causes/. I would list them here, but it would make the post too long.
