This video was too hard to watch all the way to the end, I found myself entertaining thoughts of torture, dismemberment, immolation to the Jaguar gods, and drowning, just for sport... After that I would probably kill her.

Thoughts like these are why I stopped my subscriptions to "Happy Nazi Home", "Piranhas Today" and "Euthanasia Weekly Magazines".

When I saw that on the news the other night my jaw dropped in disbelief and my wife was in tears and was upset all night. She said she wanted to stand outside the jail and kick her ass when she walked out.

Always wondered how parents could entrust a five-month old baby to a stranger. I don't give a damn about having to hold down a job, if a woman can't afford to stay at home and be a nurturing mother then don't become a mother. Plus, a webcam can't see every corner of every room so we may not know the extent of what this animal did to this child.

Personally, I'd like to be a more primitive society. I took off 1 year because I couldn't think about stuff like that happening to my son. And we couldn't really afford to do it but 'downsized' a lot of stuff we owned to handle that.

Sick, just sick. I could not watch this. She needs to go away for a long, long time (forever?!). And while I took a very long maternity leave after having my daughter, was lucky enough to work at home, have friends and family to help- I find it very telling that several men on this forum think WOMEN should stay home- it is 2010 boys, and there are a lot of stay at home daddy's (women can and DO make more money than their "other half"). The point that someone should stay home with a newborn is taken, the explicit chauvinism will be cast aside as a mistake....

uptowngirl, because it is 2010 doesn't make it natural (and I stress natural) or okay for a woman to drop her newborn and turn around and head out to the workforce regardless of the economic realities of 2010. The problem is not so much the need to have two paychecks in the home as having babies for the pleasure of the moment without any serious forethought as to how they will be cared for. And that goes for both. Some women like to yell "chauvinist" when they should be yelling "vive la difference".

Remember, the baby that was beaten by this stranger is only 5 months old.

Parents deserve much. Adults should be free to pursue careers, personal successes and riches. Often these things are purchased at the expense of a child, though.

Besides, what greater career, personal success and treasure is there?
