Something was up on East 8th Street this afternoon.  The Ninjas were rounding up dealers up and down the street.  That ought to help for awhile!

(It is a little creepy when they have the ski masks on).

I think it's cool when they're dressed like that. Saw a couple JSO yesterday taking a couple who had been hanging out by that BP on 8th in, I suppose for a night at Rutherford Inn

What time was the roundup. I noticed a sudden influx of people walking toward DT about 7PM today

Around noon they were gathered in front and on the side of the liquor store on 8th.  Cop cars parked helter skelter with a dozen or so Ninjas in action poses surrounding at least 1 mostly scared man with long dreads.  That's all I could see as I drove by.

Phil told me that he saw them on Liberty this afternoon as well.

I love the ninja cops also. Once I was standing with a customer in front of SRG's office at 8th and Laura when all of a sudden a car came speeding around the corner. The guys in the car bailed with the ninja cops in full pursuit. Tackles and handcuffing ensued. It felt like we were extras in a tv drama but it was all too real. I remember being suprised that I stayed so calm through it all.

Stuff like this makes me smile. But its like being on the outside looking at a differant world even though we live here. It is as if one world is being replaces by another.

Quotea message being sent, perhaps.

Sure, that they need to move to a new corner. Cops tonight was all for show. If there is money to be made at a new corner, they'll be there.
