This is excellent news! I saw them yesterday morning lined up (dogs too) on 10th and 8th. I think the fact that even the police need to wear masks to arrest these guys-tells you that a little store onwer/manager should NOT be approaching these people on their own.

Quotea message being sent, perhaps.

Sure, that they need to move to a new corner. Cops tonight was all for show. If there is money to be made at a new corner, they'll be there.

one corner at a time, block-by-block.

I honestly believe that with Weed and Seed you will see more of this

Sounds like the Earth Crisis song 'Firestorm'

Street by street. Block by block. Taking it all back.
The youth immersed in poison - turn the tide counter the attack.
Violence against violence, let the roundups begin.
A firestorm to purify the bane that society drowns in. No mercy, no
exceptions, a declaration of total war.
The innocent's defense is the reason it's waged for.
Born addicted, beaten and
neglected. Families torn apart, detroyed and abandoned.
Children sell their bodies, from their high they fall to drown.
Demons crazed by greed cut bystanders down.
A chemically tainted welfare generation.
Abslolute complete moral degeneration.
We have risen to their call. A firestorm to purify.
And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

More food for thought on how SWAT teams and no-knock warrants are used in unnecessarily dangerous ways: http://www.cato.org/pub_display.php?pub_id=6476

Thanks for posting this link.  It is an interesting read.

It gives the phrase "war on drugs" new meaning.

Radley Balko's blog is a pretty good read: www.theagitator.com

evidently when jso finally made it down to the shell station on 8th they decided to forgo things like law and order and just play slap and tickle with the local hooker instead.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hV-r19UwbIU
my soul was removed to make room for all of this sarcasm

I have to disagree with you on this, the reason they wear those outfits is to keep their identity concealed, as many work plain clothes and to show their faces would counteract their efforts. It's not a sign of fear of the perp, it's to allow them to remain unknown to the public.
