Is there a need for crying fullbacks in the Jag's locker room?  He's got good size.

Greg Jones has been terribly unproductive, statisticly speaking, regarding tears.

I like the guy, so I'm hoping he'll step it up seeing the Tebow threat on the horizon.

He could become, as the kids say... a real "bawler".

Tebow's trails of tears grow into streetcar rails, I'm just saying.

New NFL rumors that other teams will pass on Tebow to get him in this market.  Look for him in the 3rd.

I just heard that too on the radio - they went so far as to say that he has "tarp removal" potential at the turnstiles.  Also indicated that there's a percentage of folks (students included) that would travel from Gainesville to see him play here..............

The rumor is no team will pick him before us in the 1st round... which makes total sense seeing how wouldn't be drafted in the 1st round anyways.

If he goes into the draft as a QB, WE DON'T WANT HIM! Univ. Of Florida has a notorious record of producing bad NFL QBs. Jesse Palmer and Rex Grossman to name a few.
Jacksonville: We're not vertically challenged, just horizontally gifted!

Kerwin Bell, Bob Hewko, Doug Johnson, Eric Kresser, John Reaves, Kay Stephenson, and none other than Steve Spurrier.

Just a hunch, but maybe that is why teams are repotedly going to pass on Tebow. You can't deny the track record, it doesn't look promising if he does stay as a QB.

Also a QB selected in the 1st round will cost tens of millions more than a WR TE or FB.

Let's say you get two years of 20k extra to the stadium and keep 25% as long term fans who enjoy going to the games. And you would certainly add some TV fans throughout the region some of whom would pick the Jags as their team. Great way to grow the brand. I am predicting he comes here in the 3rd.

It will be interesting to see how Gene Smith handles it...He is a football guy and is only going to draft people who will improve the play on the field.
