Mad Cowford

I've been hanging around here for a while, figured I'd finally register and get involved in the conversation.

I am part of Mad Cowford Improv, an improv comedy group who have been around for the past three-plus years in Jax.  We are downtown supporters and have been performing regularly on Fridays at Northstar Substation on Bay Street.  Before that we spent some time at 9th and Main, and were at Boomtown Subterranea with Stephen for a year.

Welcome ... looking forward to some comedy twists.

Are by chance affiliated with the Improv effect?  I've only seen them, I haven't seen you guys yet.  Where do you normally perform?

You found "The Game of the Thread" in improv parlance.

You can find us every Friday night at Northstar Substation at 119 E. Bay Street.  It's right next to the Ivy Bar.  We put on a 90 minute show starting at 8, and we only ask $5.

I know Jessie and some of the people in Improv Effect, but we are a separate group.

I guess then that "PURPLE POWER" wins!

Oooooh so you are downtown?  Neato!  But wait, you ask for $5, or do you actually charge for it? ;p
