I have no problem with toll roads, use it, you pay for it. I have a Sun Pass in my car for the turnpike trips to the keys, I use the pike over I-95 any day, much faster trip. I have no problem with future tolls, again if you use it, you pay for it.
Fine you will get your wish but not everybody will be buy the (PASS) so Employees will have to be at some booths to take money for the GREAT TOLL ROAD! Then here is the problem these poor people will have to suck up all the Dirty exhaust into there Lungs. Hey maybe they should just hire two pack a day workers to work as the Toll Booth Collectors?

JaxBorn...the plan is for ALL toll roads in the state to eventually be equipped for ONLY open road tolling....if you don't have a SunPass (or other device), a camera will take a picture of your license plate and you will receive a bill in the mail.

If the hospital is built @ Chaffee and Normandy, that road will not be tolled.
Where'd you come up with that?

Already there, with cameras at intersections, downtown, would not suprise me to see more cameras around town as a way to control costs of adding more officers. Some would call it progress, and we don't have to pay a pension to a camera.

And when you cruise through a toll lane without paying a toll, you are sent the cost of the TOLL, plus a rather nice Monetary FINE for failing to pay.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

"This is a game-changer. This is what I mean when I say taking Jacksonville to the next level."
