I'm looking into the possibility of moving to springfield and i realize it's a very diverse neighborhood. I've seen rentals in different parts and one in particular in the area of Florida ave, is this still considered a part of springfield and if so what is the general feel in that area? I've driven by but i don't want to make assumptions based of a few drive by visits.

Julian, Florida Ave is not a part of Historic Springfield. 

That said, I don't know too much about the area around FL Ave.

HS boundaries: 1st North to 12th, and Blvd East to Ionia.

I wouldn't live outside of Historic Springfield district. Much nicer & safer, fyi.
