Building renovation in the Edgewood Ave Murray Hill "Entertainment District"??

I noticed that the two story building between The Alibi and Perfect Rack Billiards on the South side of Edgewood Avenue in Murray Hill is finally getting a makeover.  There's a new store front going in next to the Wine Warehouse and they stripped the paint off the brick facade upstairs and added new windows.  Anybody know what the master plan for this building is or who's doing it?  I always liked that building and thought it would be cool to have a loft apartment upstairs.

Wine warehouse is going to move next door and then work to fix the old space up. They will add more to the outside and work to clean up the front of the old part. Not sure what is going upstairs, but according to Wine Warehouse, they own the building.

Great news...I checked the tax records on the building last year sometime and somebody hadn't been paying property taxes on it.  Sounds like it may have changed owners and Wine Warehouse is making better use of it.  I'll stop in to find out if the upstairs is "available".  Thanks!
