Florida Power And Light

Soon, Hurricane Ian Governor's Office Press Conference; A Reporter will ask/ interject; ..... " Should Folk Reconsider Moving to Florida?"

Steve

Let's be real, it won't. While what happened to folks in Sanibel and the Fort Myers area was horrible and many of those neighborhoods will have to rebuild from scratch, as a percentage of Florida overall this happened to a very low percentage of the overall Florida population. Right or wrong, people will say, "That won't happen to me," and largely they will be correct.

Homeowners insurance may be more expensive.

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Will be..

And more difficult to find...

The state can help mitigate that. They should have done it already. But yes, it will be another added cost for folks at a time that the cost of living in Florida is getting out of control. What happened in California is happening here as we speak.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?
