It would be nice if there was a true BRT with dedicated lanes that would travel SJTC- St Johns Bluff- Beach through UNF- 7 Pines- Gate- Back to SJTC. This would be possible with the will, regardless if this stadium happens.

The concept art looks amazing, let's see if it actually ends up being a true walkable mixed use hub. I would love that. I had this idea of complementing the Emerald Trail with the "Ruby Trail" connecting the beaches, and the Sapphire Trail in the Gate Parkway, Town Center, UNF area.

Anybody go to the first game last night? Really good crowd. Not surprisingly there were a lot of families and seemed to be a fair amount of UNF students in attendance.

It was a fun atmosphere but Hodges Stadium at UNF is not a good place to watch a game. Hopefully they can get the new stadium built. The track around the field makes it weird to begin with. There does not seem to be any permanent concession stands. And the areas they set up for concessions all had long lines snaking through the concourse.

And the sound system (if you can even call it that) is laughably bad. I think all of the sound was coming from a handful of portable speakers they had on the track around midfield. We were on the southern side of the stadium seats and heard nothing. Prior to the game, they had a group of singers performing something and I don't think anyone in our section had any idea what was happening because you could not hear anything. There are better sound systems at high school football games.
