Great little interview. Can't wait to read the book! I know Jax is planning on a museum but I truly hope that's just the starting point. I'd love if we embraced the rich music history we have here like some of our peer cities. I.e. Nashville and Memphis.

I hope that if there ever is a museum for Jacksonville music, it will be sure to include more than just Southern Rock. Obviously Lynyrd Skynyrd is Jacksonville's biggest band (I guess followed by Limp Bizkit), but there are others.

I also thought, given the city's role in the pre-Hollywood film industry, it would be nice if there was a museum (or maybe a permanent exhibit in a museum) dedicated to the films shot there.
