Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Very nice tour.  The group Old Arlington, Inc. http://myarlington.org/?page_id=284 is dedicated to preserving and highlighting the history of Arlington.  The group holds a home tour every year.  This year's is October 26 and 27. So far, no additional info is on their website event page: http://myarlington.org/?page_id=1763

In you Gilmore section, you missed some of the older homes (showing mostly shots down streets), especially one of the oldest, on Fort Caroline at Riveredge Drive.

My grandma lived in Clifton from the early 60s right up until she died four or five years ago. Her home was immaculate as were the homes around it but unfortunately much of the area had declined significantly. She lamented how far the area had fallen but continued to keep up her yard into her 80s. I'll never forget the sight of her after some medical procedure, arm in a sling, outside pulling weeds from the flowerbeds. Her kids ended up in places like Ponte Vedra and Lakewood. I think they sold the home to a young family so hopefully the neighborhood will continue to be kept up.
