I did not love Dahlia's—too much empty space; I prefer bars with closer quarters—but given the existing locations, I don't have much faith that Brewz will put it to good use. The one in Bartram Park is just a few decorations away from looking like a Jersey Mike's.

I liked Dahlias. Too bad.

Sounds like someone may have finally found a use that'll work in the 5 Points Tavern.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Any name that uses a Z in lieu of a S just to sound edgy and cool is very, very uncool. That's just science.

Agreed.

My father-in-law went to the one in Bartram Park a couple months back. He asked the bartender why they only had two local beers on tap. The bartender rudely responded that "if you want a local beer you can just go to the brewery itself." There is of course some validity to that statement, but for people like my in-laws that live way down there in suburbia (some Jax breweries are nearly an hour away), it was rather off-putting. It's not like Bartram Park and St. Johns county are overflowing with places serving Jacksonville beer. Oh well. He hasn't been back, and I don't plan to go out of my way to go to a Brewzzz either. If I want real beer selection, I'll go to Kickbacks.
