Anybody else think the new MD Anderson hospital is way too busy looking?  Too many textured walls for my taste.

I'm excited about the soccer fields, but not sure I understand how that's going to work.

^ I agree with you on the textured walls. I think it would look better now and age better if they were flat.

As to MD Anderson, perhaps it is, but compared to the boring designs normally done in JAX, I'll take it. If you drive by the garage the perforated metal wall is pretty interesting. Better than what I believe you will get with the Trio garage.

I agree that it's better than nothing, but they just took it about 20% too far.  If the bulk of the sides were flat and it had the metal accent walls, tiles around the windows, etc... that would be nice.  As it is, the whole place is one big accent wall.

Refurb rather than new construction, but I just walked by the Landing and there's major construction going on at Hooters.

Restaurant looks closed for remodeling for the foreseeable future (during Jazz Fest, no less).

Saw them unpacking new furniture, looks nice.

Probably. Hooters wanted to renovate a while back. However, their plans were on hold because of indecision on if the building would be demolished as a part of a plan to raze and rebuild the Landing.
