what was the giant behemoth brick building that's being torn down in this approximate location? I rode by there during my urban exploration\bike riding\exercise hour today. I always like learning about the local history here in Jacksonville. Any natives got answers, please?

That's the old Pic N Save corporate headquarters and warehouse.

oh ok. thanks. i thought i had read an article about that place here before, i guess the geo-location didn't stick lol. Dang that place was huuuge! Bricks everywhere!

That really sucks. Interesting building, or was.

Is the whole thing being torn down or just the portion closest to Liberty? There's a cold storage warehouse there that appears to be in decent shape.

So he's going to outbid everyone, wait three years, then ask the city to pay for part of it at whatever the market price is in 2021, and let him still buy it for the 2018 price?
