Good news to all who have kiddos and who enjoy time in the parks. The money was allotted to rebuild the Boone Park SOUTH play area and I learned today that the beginning construction date is later this month. New equipment, a softer rubber surface, and more irrigation around the playground will be a welcome site.

Look for updates in The Resident as well.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

A $50k donation from D. Weaver doesn't hurt to speed things along either.
