Riverside/Avondale in the 1950s

Hello all!
I am a historical fiction writer, and the project that I am currently researching is set in Jax in the late 50s. I'm trying to narrow down a neighborhood where the protagonist would have lived, and one of the options I have written down is the Riverside/Avondale area. Does anyone have any photographs, maps, or other information that I could use? Anything helps, really- I want to make it feel really authentic.
