How "folksy" and "down home" his delivery is. Cute little asides about things like low country boils or whatever. I guess it's just a column, but it seems a waste of column inches. I guess this is what Dave Barry, et al wrought.

I don't know what it is about tattoos on a waiter, but they make me lose my appetite. You throw in some dreadlocks and I'll fast like I've got a blood test in the morning.

He had to get in some racism, too. Delightful.
