Oh, I forgot to add...

Had an absolutely horrendous experience on Air Canada this past summer. Totally unnecessary and entirely customer service related. I mentioned this to some Canadians and they said it happens all the time. AC is the absolute worst and an embarrassment to the country. lol.

But still...great news!!

1. Customs pre clearance in YYZ. Step off the plane in JAX and ready to go..

Except in certain instances it can be bad. I was bumped from my flight out of Calgary and because I was being rerouted, it meant that I had to "re-enter" Canada and then go back through CBP lol.

Pretty sure one can say they have had similar experiences with most airlines unfortunately.  I have had my share of bad experiences with Delta and Continental and U.S. air before merges.

^Very true. Americas flagship carriers are no better.

And Air Canada made the news recently with a move to be more musician-friendly. They are now letting us by a seat for our instrument for half-price, which is really great for all my cellist friends.

There's always room for cello. (/ducks)
The tourist would realize at once that he had struck the Land of Flowers - the City Beautiful!

Yeah, that's an old advertising jingle from the late 60's/early 70's.  I thought we ALL were old enough to .... <<sigh>>   ;)

It is worth noting that this flight will probably be operated by Air Canada Rouge...not AC itself. No gripes here but there is a difference.

Won't be Rouge, it will be AC Express.  AC Mainline, AC Express, & AC Rouge all got new routes as part of the 12 city expansion.

Probably will have better customer service  :o

I'm really not that bitter, just a little.
