Urban Jax Development Project & Construction List

Welcome to the Urban Development Master List. This list contains all major active and proposed developments within Jacksonville's urban core neighborhoods of Downtown, Brooklyn, Riverside, San Marco and Springfield. In the upcoming months, this project list will be expanded to include additional areas of the urban core, Duval County and Northeast Florida.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I would assume the Ambassador project, the 1400 Main Street project, and the Madison Landing project are all dead as once proposed. No?

1460 Main St. was announced in 2013, wouldn't the Tax Credits have been awarded by now? Same question for Madison Landing would apply as well.

Interesting report.

What's the difference between "proposed" and "planned"?

Some projects that, I think should be listed as "under construction"
Cowford Chophouse
Intuition (although, it doesn't look like anything is going on)
Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center - the BRT station is under construction
Yates YMCA

Those items have been corrected. The list was originally created a few months ago (January 2015) but I'm just getting around to publishing it, which is why a few "proposed" should have been updated to "under construction". I'll have to check on the latest status of the projects desiring tax credits and if those tax credits are available on an annual basis or a one time only situation.
