I recently was able to try out a place I had not been to before called "Saucy Taco"

www.saucytaco.com

It is located on FL Route 13 just south of the Julington Creek bridge near the intersection with Race Track Road.

The menu:

is a mix of tex-mex and some trad American fare.  I tried the chix enchiladas and the arrangement was unique with the tortilla wraps on top of a bed of black beans and rice. Lots of cheese and green salsa is included in the mix. \

The most unique item on the menu appears to be the "Irish Taco" with corned beef roasted in Guinness with cabbage and spicy mustard. Didn't try it this time, but it is the most unique taco I have seen recently. (and there seem to be a lot these days)

Being in a strip mall, this locale is very easy to miss from the highway as it gets lost behind trees and the mess of retail around it.

The locale is decorated as if an old truck garage, with various truck parts (some pretty old) up on the walls to look at.

The tap wall has so many beer choices, I couldn't recite them all. I recognized all the local brews and then some I haven't seen from the craft brew space.

Service was attentive and the food was delivered in a timely fashion and hot.

Worth trying again? Sure, just to see what that Irish Taco is all about. It's across town for me but for those nearby, you should give Saucy Taco a try.

Yeah, that's what the Metro means.

Been there several times, it's a very cool place. Lots of craft beers, live music and fresh food.
I do recommend :)

We also try to eat there everytime we're down that way.

I have eaten there a few times and always been good. I had the Irish Taco once, quite tasty. I believe the owner also owns the Hurricanes at Julington Creek.
