When the bouncers are knocking out multiple people, it's best to not try and show out in front of your girl or boys!

Isnt this the same place MJD got into a row with a bouncer?

The guy out cold on the dock was airflighted to Shands is in critical condition. They pulled him out of the water. Dont these bouncers know CPR?

Ummm...wow.

I've never seen anything like that, those guys in the video aren't bouncers, they're acting like a gang and it's their own private fight club. I didn't see a single patron throwing the first punch, what I saw the whole time was them aggressively pursuing anybody mouthing off to them, especially that short bald white guy.

I wonder why this youtube vid got so many thumbs down. Maybe St Aug residents. Either way, alot of f@*kery went on that day at the Conch House. Those bouncers seemed very overaggressive to say the least.

The Conch House owners can now sympathize with how the Stones felt after they hired the Hells Angels for concert security at Alatamont. ;-)

Throwing unconscious people into water is sickening. Whoever did that should be charged with attempted murder.

I don't think shutting them down is the right answer.  It is a great place and a staple of St. Augustine.  I have been to many of their Reggae Sunday events and have never had a problem.  My only complaint has been the amount of people they have been allowed to pack in for some of their larger events.  Seems to me things can be fixed with just a little pressure from the city.  Maybe some more limitations on the occupancy?  Citations?

As I understand it, the legal authority for a hired bouncer to forcibly detain, restrain or to strike someone is the same authority common to  all citizens, nothing more.

Looks like some persons came just for lunch and beer but will end up owning part of some prime real estate.
