NICE. I figured that as Hendricks and San Marco Ave have filled in more and more, Kings would come along next.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Yeah, you'd think Kings Avenue is ripe for this kind of stuff.

Nice. Within walking distance of Kings Avenue Station too! A potential lunch spot for a downtown worker!

Sweet.  That little area at centered at Hendricks/Nira has sen some pretty decent action int he last couple of years with V Pizza, Sidecar, San Marco Station, and Aardwolf.  This will be a good addition and keep expanding the area.  I wish they would do somehting with King's though, it certainly doesn't need to be 4 lane.

I haven't been in the area for awhile, but has there been any movement at the San Marco Station commercial area since the Panera?

Very Cool!  Now how buying out those skeevy bars next door and turning King street into more of restaurant row!     8)

Kings Avenue. Would love for it to be like King St.

Seriously!  I hate when people ask about updates without posting anything substantive, but I can't wait until this place is open.  I'm going to ride up here all the time for some delicious BBQ.  Also, anything that expands the San Marco commercial footprint is a huge plus in my book.

And your post was substantive?  I'll drive by today during lunch and see if there's anyone around to talk to.  Sorry, I'll try to make sure future posts are more substantive...Captain.

Slow down...

The Cap was saying he normally doesn't like it, but is just as excited as you presumably are.  He was excusing the non-information giving, annoyingly inquisitive, waste of time drivel that you call a post.    ;)

Naldo: There are people on this site who are notorious bumpers of threads who get everyone excited by seeing that a topic they're interested in has new news, only to have their soul crushed when they realize it's just that guy bumping again.  You're new to the site so you may not know that, but it draws the ire of other posters.

I've driven past this place on the way home from work a few times lately, but there hasn't been any visible changes that I have seen.  Given that the outside area has a high privacy fence and the windows are super dark, it's very possible that the work is just shielded from view, but I'm betting that this will be a slow moving project.

Soul's being crushed?  Ire?  Maybe someone forgot their coffee this morning?

I live in San Marco and just wanted some information on a place that was supposed to open in September, at least according to the original newspaper article.  I figured this was a community forum, apparently it's not.
