Just so you guys know, Urban Grind is completely open. I was talking to the owner the other day, and she said they're going to redo the entire interior of the atrium during march.

Nice update. That ribbon cutting ceremony for the Southbank Riverwalk is just 6 hours out. Scheduled for 12 pm at Friendship Fountain. Plan on going and walking to the DCPS building and then there is a cafeteria on the top floor open to the Public. This is a special day in Jacksonville history. Anyone who has the ability can arrive by boat and dock at the floating dock at Riverplace Towers. I hope that will be open?

Kayaked it last week.

Hope every media outlet in the Jacksonville and the region will be there. Hope every print, radio, and TV stations will show the Inagural walk and celebration of this new Downtown Destination. Which TV station will zoom in at noon as this historical event is taking place?

Can't wait to run along the new riverwalk tonight! Also, maybe I missed it, but Jimmy John's is also now open.

Southbank Riverwalk looks good.

Yes, it does.  Anyone want to wager how long it will take before we see missing pavers and weeds sprouting from the cracks?

A couple you missed in SPR:

On the 1500 block of N. Main Street, "Tapas Old World" is doing exterior and interior renovation to open.

On the 1600 block of Main Street, the St. Augustine Paper Company is finishing renovations, hopes to be open in a month.

FYI: If anyone is thinking of renovating a property on Main Street, or any commercial property in SPR really, there is demand for affordable rent-ready space. There's a shortage, and interested people are having to go elsewhere.

Thanks. What building is Tapas Old World going into?

The former A-Z Sandwich Shop, for those that have been around a while, near 4th & Main. It was just painted a terra cotta red.
