This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Jacksonville Zoo.  Did you know that the Zoo was originally located in Springfield, in what is now Klutho Park?

Help support local artists and public art by contributing to our fund to purchase the giraffe sculpture featured in downtown's Sculpture Walk.  The giraffe will be placed in Klutho Park along with a commemorative marker.  A donation of ANY amount is greatly appreciated!

We're about 40% there . . . will this be successful? The suspense is killing me . . .

Quick comment: The whole process on the donation site seems unnecessarily complicated.

Me, personally, I do not want to sign up or log-in, just donate money. Ideally by clicking on a "Pay by Paypal" link and be done with it.

Will buy a beer (or beverage of choice) for anyone who donates over the $10 level.   :D

For the next 10 days, any donation up to $1000 will be matched by SPAR.

So, your $10 donation actually means $20. Let's keep this public art in the core . . . every dollar counts.
