Years ago I used to work down that way when the Ryder Truck Company was still in business. I always thought it was an interesting old neighborhood and there was always a lot of activity, especially around the college. Past EWC is a salvage yard called Burkhalters that's fun to tour through - lots of reclaimed old building items.
