seriously... why sensationalize the most basic food and safety violations every month like this was some kind of great scoop...

What the TU needs to do is try and develop a food critic column, and then Jax can develop some restaurants for the critic...

Mickey mouse "clickbaiting" operation...  just hurting dining in town.

Florida is one of the few states I have been to that doesn't have letter grading in the window. I agree though posting lists like that can hurt businesses, but if written by a credible source can be a good tool. I personally like the views of a few people in here so I ignore the paper for the most part... I think fieldafm would be a good source, but i doubt the TU would try and hunt down someone who is already in the food mix... after all that would make sense right...

I think it's disgraceful that they often use a picture of a minimal violator as the thumbnail for the sideshow. And then the list the restaurants from cleanest to dirtiest, which I think unfairly implicates the clean restaurants because those are the ones you see first and most often in the "dirty restaurants" slideshow.

Might be a good suggestion to them?  Who knows they may agree and change the way they handle it as showing pics of the least offender doesn't make sense.  I only see it in the actual print edition and they typically do not include photos in that listing.

It's just click bait they get for free as it's public record. It's really sad they've come to this.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

fsquid

they had some guy from St. Louis that used to write about dining.  Haven't seen his stuff in awhile.

Bridges

Clickbait.  Same with their disgraceful "Daily Mugshot".
So I said to him: Arthur, Artie come on, why does the salesman have to die? Change the title; The life of a salesman. That's what people want to see.
